By accessing or using the DocRenders API and related services ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these terms.
DocRenders provides a REST API that converts Markdown and HTML content into PDF documents. The Service is intended for developers and businesses integrating PDF generation into their own products and workflows.
You must create an account to access the Service. You are responsible for keeping your API key confidential. Do not share your API key publicly or commit it to version control. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your API key.
If you believe your key has been compromised, revoke it immediately from your dashboard and generate a new one.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions.
You retain ownership of any HTML or Markdown content you submit to the Service for rendering. By submitting content, you grant DocRenders a limited, transient licence to process that content solely for the purpose of fulfilling your API request. We do not store rendered PDFs or submitted content beyond the time needed to complete each request.
The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Pricing details are published on our pricing page. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis. All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Each plan includes a monthly render allowance. Usage resets at the start of each billing cycle. Renders in excess of your plan limit will be rejected with an HTTP 429 response until the cycle resets or you upgrade your plan.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We may perform maintenance or updates that cause temporary unavailability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocRenders shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided without warranty of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or for any other reason with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your API key will be revoked and you will lose access to the Service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
